New York City: 41% of All Pregnanices End in Abortion — Worse for African Americans

In New World Order, Political Issues on January 13, 2011 at 8:25 am

Choose life

This is as disturbing as it gets. Not only has the Department of Health released statistics that 41% of pregnancies in New York City end in abortion, among African Americans it is a startling 61%. This is mass murder on an unbelievable basis. And the disproportionate numbers should not be a surprise when one considers the goals of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, who was a key figure in the eugenics movement, which sought to decrease and eliminate the non-White races in hopes of building a White “master race”. They were believers in the same racist ideologies that inspired Hitler. Here are some of her words:

“The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”
Margaret Sanger (editor). The Woman Rebel, Volume I, Number 1. Reprinted in Woman and the New Race. New York: Brentanos Publishers, 1922.

“Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.”
Margaret Sanger. Woman, Morality, and Birth Control. New York: New York Publishing Company, 1922. Page 12.

“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”
Margaret Sanger’s December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255 Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts. Original source: Sophia Smith Collection, Smith College, North Hampton, Massachusetts. Also described in Linda Gordon’s Woman’s Body, Woman’s Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America. New York: Grossman Publishers, 1976.

“Eugenic sterilization is an urgent need … We must prevent multiplication of this bad stock.”
Margaret Sanger, April 1933 Birth Control Review.

“Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying … demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism … [Philanthropists] encourage the healthier and more normal sections of the world to shoulder the burden of unthinking and indiscriminate fecundity of others; which brings with it, as I think the reader must agree, a dead weight of human waste. Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the stocks that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world, it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant … We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.”
Margaret Sanger. The Pivot of Civilization, 1922. Chapter on “The Cruelty of Charity,” pages 116, 122, and 189. Swarthmore College Library edition.

Even if you are a pro-choice, there is no denying that the abortion movement was started with the intention of carrying out genocide against people of color in the United States. For more information, please look at this article on “The Negro Project”, a plan developed by Sanger, or look at the documentary below which exposes all of this. And today its effects are still clearly being felt as abortion clinics predominately are placed in minority neighborhoods, including its new mega-abortion mill in Houston.

It is time for Christians who understand the concept of murder to speak out against this. And as believers we should always be ready to condemn racism. This is one of the worst epidemics facing the Black community today. And again, I wonder, where is the first African American President on this issue? Oh that’s right, he is just approving more legislation to make abortions even more accessible and available for women in later terms of their pregnancies. Do not be deceived! The Bible is clear: God knows us from the moment of creation and even before then (“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee..” Jeremiah 1:5). Pray against this genocide. Pray for the country to come to its senses and elect leaders who will actually address these issues. There are millions of lives as stake.

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Joshua’s Great Battle — A Preview of War With the Antichrist

In Bible Study, End-Times/Eschatology, New World Order on December 27, 2010 at 3:09 pm

Joshua praying for the sun to "stand still"

In my first piece on “Types and Shadows”, we examined the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar in the book of Daniel and how so much in his career was a foreshadow of the actions of the end-times Antichrist. As we continue in this series, I wanted focus on the book of Joshua, a book that is not often thought of as end-times prophecy, but is. In fact, although this article will focus on one chapter, the case can be made that the entire book of Joshua is a preview of the book of Revelation.

Types and Shadows

Now this article is based on the idea of “types and shadows” in the Bible. This is essentially the Bible’s way of foreshadowing future prophetic events through Old Testament Scripture. Here are some passages that highlight this:

Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Hosea 12:10 I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines a ‘similitude’ as: 1. Likeness; resemblance; likeness in nature, qualities of appearance; as similitude of substance.

The Lord has used much of the historic events of the Old Testament to provide a preview of future events. Whether it be the Passover of Exodus foreshadowing the crucifixion of Christ on the cross and His shed blood which provides the remission of sins or the 12 tribes of Israel and the twelve disciples, there are many similitudes throughout the Bible. What will happen in the future has happened already in some form or fashion. This is also the case for prophecies of things to come. Thus when reading the Bible any future prophetic event should have a type or shadow in a prior part of Scripture.

Joshua’s Great Battle

Joshua was a mighty military leader and great servant to The Lord. As he led the Israelites into the Promised Land, he wages numerous military campaigns. There is one battle in Chapter 10 of Joshua that raises lots of prophetic, end-time red flags: the battle against Adonizdec.

Joshua 10:1 Now it came to pass, when Adonizedec king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them; 2 That they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all the men thereof were mighty. 3 Wherefore Adonizedec king of Jerusalem, sent unto Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, saying, 4 Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel. 5 Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.

From the earliest chapter of the Bible Jerusalem was a Holy City of The Lord (see Genesis 14, when Melchizedek, the King of Salem – or Jerusalem, encounters Abraham). But by the times of Joshua, the city had been turned over to paganism. The nations in the Promised Land at the time of the book of Joshua were usurpers, working in Satan’s grand scheme to keep the Israelites out of the Promised Land and destroy the lineage that would lead to the Promised Messiah, Jesus Christ.

The Names

Adoni-zedec in Hebrew means “King of Righteousness” or “King of Justice.” He was an Amorite-Canaanite King at a time when that culture was deeply into the worship of the gods Baal and Ashtoreth, with pagan sacrifices being conducted in the high places of Jerusalem.1 There is great irony then in his name as “King of Righteousness.” But the prophetic value of this cannot be missed. As the end-times Antichrist, will also enter into power “peaceably” (Daniel 11) and present himself as a substitute for true Lord of Righteousness, Jesus Christ. Reading Revelation 13, which describes much of the Antichrist’s or Beast’s reign, it is apparent that the people of the world are amazed by the Antichrist inasmuch as they eventually agree to worship him. So he too will be a false “Righteous King.”

On the side of The Lord, we see even more prophetic confirmation in Joshua. The name Joshua or Yeshua in Hebrew, means “salvation.” In fact Joshua is the Hebrew form of the name “Jesus” and of course in the end times it will be Jesus who defeats the Antichrist (Revelation 19). So as we see another link to end times prophecy, the type and shadow of this chapter becomes more clear.

Jerusalem

Adonizedec operates out of Jerusalem. In the end-times, the Antichrist will also operate out of the Holy City:

1 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The Apostle Paul prophesied that the Antichrist or “son of perdition” will sit in the temple of God, proclaiming that he is God and exalting himself over The Lord. The temple of God at that time was and can only be in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah. There is no temple there today (as it was destroyed in 70 AD by the Roman Empire) but this verse has led many to believe a future temple will be built. Just as Joshua defeated the pagan usurper to reclaim the Holy City for the Lord, so too will Jesus Christ return to Earth and defeat the false Messiah Antichrist and reclaim the entire world for God.

A Plan of Destruction

Adonizedec’s hostility towards God’s people is obvious. Once he heard of the victories of Joshua and how the Gibeonites made peace with him, Adonizedec wanted to wage war with them just for extending peaceful relations the God’s chosen nation. It seems the “Roadmap to peace” with Israel was just as treacherous then as it is today, with nations still unwilling to achieve peace with Israel. And thus Adonizedec sought to destroy them. So too will the Antichrist seek to persecute and kill the saints of God in the end-times (Revelation 13:7).

The pagan King then forms a confederation with ten kings to go wage war against the Israelites by attacking one of their allies. In the end times, the Bible informs that the Antichrist will also form a confederation with 10 Kings:

Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

We know from Revelation 13, that the Antichrist’s government will be global. He will have control over all nation of the world. However, prior to being the sole global dictator, he will share his power. The final world government shall be comprised of ten regional rulers who will be in power for “one hour” with the beast. The angel sent to explain the visions the Apostle John views in chapter 17 identifies the horn on the beast as these rulers. Daniel chapter 7 also identifies the 10-horned beast with an 11th horn rising from them that would become the Beast of Revelation. After the set time of “one hour”, the ten regional rulers will then conspire to transfer all of their power and authority to the Beast giving him complete global control. And the end goal of this confederation is the same as it was in the times of Joshua: to wage war and conquer God’s people.

10 Region Government Today?

For many people who have researched global government or the One World Order, they have come across articles or illustrations referencing a map that was created by the Club of Rome, which in its own words is a ” …a global think tank and centre of innovation and initiative.” The map envisions a world divided into 10 regions:

Although this may not be the final map used in a global government. It is this author’s belief that it will be something similar. Some prophecy scholars advocate that the Antichrist’s Kingdom will be a “revived Roman Empire” comprised mostly of present-day Europe and the Mediterranean. However, this does not jive with the descriptions of the Antichrist’s authority in Revelation which is global. And with the European Union formed, African Union coming to fruition and similar, regional confederacies springing up, this prophecy is becoming more and more of a reality.

Signs in the Sky

In this incredible battle that took place between the Israelites and the confederacy of Adonizedec, there are some very powerful and unique prophetic markers that again show a type and shadow to the book of Revelation and the end-time period to come. The enemies of Israel were first hit with hailstones from the sky:

11 And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

In Revelation, one of the judgments we read is very similar: Revelation 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Joshua’s battle was also famous for being the day the “sun stood still”: 12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. 13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

Now some may question how the sun can “Stand still” if the Earth rotates around it. But we must remember language of the ancient times and perspective. The sun could be described as moving even if it is the Earth that is moving but from the perspective of an ancient writer, if the Earth did not rotate for a day it would appear that sun “stood still.” Even today, we use terms like “sunrise” and “sunset” as a reflection of how the sun appears from our perspective. In Revelation, at the time the Biblical “Day of The Lord” starts, when God Almighty Himself will rise to pour out His punishment on the sinful world, we see similar unprecedented signs:
Revelation 6:2 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood

In both instances, the sun and the moon have unprecedented actions that would surely signify God’s Hand at work. Interestingly, in Revelation, these signs are accompanied by a devastating global earthquake that sends all the rich and powerful people of the world into hiding in holes and caves.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

In Joshua, the signs of God gets a similar reaction:
16 But these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at Makkedah. 17 And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah.

Joshua eventually defeats Adonizedec and all of the usurper Kings and in like manner Jesus will defeat the Antichrist with the brightness of His Coming (Revelation 19).

The other key component of this battle is that God Himself fights for Israel. The book of Joshua further describes it as a day like no other. This is later referenced in Zechariah 14: ” 1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle”. [emphasis added]

This passage which is prophesying about the final end time battle of Armageddon, again links the Joshua Chapter 10 battle to the end times. That battle with Adonizedec was the day when God fought and once again in the Day of The Lord (during the end times tribulation), God will once again rise up to fight on behalf of Israel.

As we see in this overlap of the signs in these battles we can conclude that Joshua was indeed a type of Jesus Christ and his war to lead God’s nation into the Promised Land was a shadow of Jesus Christ’s future defeat of the Antichrist and reclaiming the Earth for the saints of The Lord. These remarkable patterns that The Lord has put in the Bible help inform us when we are trying to interpret prophetic Scripture. Any future event should have a prior type in Scripture and we should study the Word diligently to find out to confirm what we may think to be true. And all of this will help us to keep our eyes open to world events as the Word of God becomes more and more of a reality.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter. — Proverbs 25:2.

Nebuchadnezzar 666 — Foreshadow of The Antichrist

In End-Times/Eschatology on September 3, 2010 at 12:05 am

Worship God, Not an Image

There are many, many people I have encountered in Biblical discussions or forums who charge that King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was an evil, pagan king and there was no love for The Lord our God in him. On the contrary, Nebuchadnezzar was in fact a believer who converted from pagan religions. This King, one of the first global rulers in ancient times (in the sense that he conquered the known world), had a very fascinating career in the way that God used him and taught him while the prophet Daniel was in his courts. And through his life, some of his actions were previews of the reign of the Antichrist of the end times.

The Golden Statue – 666

In Daniel Chapter 2, the prophet Daniel is summoned to the Babylonian King’s court to help interpret a dream. He first had to tell the King what the dream was (because the King could not recall it — he only had the disturbing the dream left with him) and then interpret the meaning of it. After much prayer, God blessed Daniel to know the dream and its meaning. The Babylonian King had seen a statue with a head of gold, torso of silver, midsection of bronze, legs of iron and feet of iron and clay. Each different metal represented the four Kingdoms that would dominate the Earth in the coming centuries starting with the Babylonian Kingdom. In fact, Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar that he is that head of gold:

Daniel 2:37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. 38And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

Again, we see that Nebuchadnezzar was a global ruler. He had been given power and raised up by God to rule the entire known world. Nebuchadnezzar. After hearing this interpretation, the King promoted Daniel to be his chief advisor and complimented The Lord (but had not yet professed his faith). Filled with pride, the King then decided he was going to build a statue of pure gold, of himself. And here is where we see a type or shadow of the Antichrist to come:

Daniel 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

So here Nebuchadnezzar has set up a golden statue of himself that 60 cubits tall and 6 cubits wide. This is an extreme act of pride that is normally reserved for someone who thinks of themselves as a god. This is later confirmed as the passage continues:

2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. 3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, 5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: 6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

The Scriptures make it clear that the King was declaring himself to be a god and demanding worship. But the worship was to be directed at the statue he had erected. And even the numbers involve are clues: A statue 60 cubits tall, 6 cubits wide and was to be worshiped when 6 instruments are played. And we know from the book of Revelation that 666 is the number of the Antichrist. This is the Hebrew parallel poetic style the Bible was written in. The Lord expresses Himself through repeated events, occurrences and ideas. Here, the Bible is giving a foreshadow to the religious system of the Antichrist. The Book of Revelation prophesies that the Beast, or the Antichrist, will be a global ruler. He will have power over all people and his religious system will be based on the worship of him.

Revelation 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Like Nebuchadnezzar, the Antichrist will proclaim himself to be god. He will be worshiped by all of the people on the Earth who do not have Jesus Christ as their Savior. There are no exceptions in his system once it is established. And it is enforced and directed by his cohort, The False Prophet. The False Prophet will emerge on the public scene at the same time as the Antichrist and be a Spiritual leader who promotes the Antichrist as “The One”, the messiah the world has been waiting for. And with his words and false miracles he will encourage the world to set up an “image” of the Antichrist:

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Revelation 13)

So again, we see the parallel. The image of the beast, whether it be a statue or hologram, or whatever it may be, is where all worship is to be directed, under penalty of death. Just like the golden statue. This is the similitude that the book of Hosea is speaking of. It is a repeated idea or theme from ancient times to future prophecy. They are all throughout the Bible.

The Kings Becomes a Beast

After seeing Daniel’s friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abendego, survive the furnace for not worshiping his statue, King Nebuchadnezzar was once again moved to praise God and of course promoted these 3 young men to prominent positions in his kingdom as he had done previously. But he still had not truly humbled himself before God. He believed the God of Daniel existed, and saw his works, but had not made him lord of his life. This lesson would not be learned until we get to the account of chapter 4, where the King has another disturbing dream which Daniel interprets. And in the dream, the King, symbolized by a tree, has his kingdom removed from him and suffers a punishment for his excessive pride:

Daniel 4:15 Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth: 16Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.

The King’s heart was going to be replaced with a beast’s. A transformation was going to undertake him that would literally make this wealthy, powerful King act like an animal. This chapter is rich with foreshadowing. For one we see the global King being compared and transformed to a beast. And of course in Revelation, the Antichrist is constantly referred to as “the Beast.” We also see that the length of the punishment of Nebuchadnezzar is “seven times” which is interpreted as seven years. This is the length of the final end-time period of the Earth known as Daniel’s 70th week. The 70th week is the time when the Beast or Antichrist, makes his ascent to global power and rulership. And we know that Satan will be supernaturally empowering the antichrist to perform miracles, wonders and secure his unrivaled power. Just as Nebuchadnezzar was changed, so will the beast be.

The Book of Proverbs tells us “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Searching the Scriptures not only builds our relationship with The Lord and strengthens our faith, it is fun. And Bible prophecy is an area that can be very exciting when studied. But like anything we do in life, we must do it in accordance with what God says and commands. The Lord has set patterns in His Word for us to recognize and understand. The past can truly show us the future in the Bible. And most importantly, it can help us gain more appreciation for how great and awesome God is, as He has declared the future of the world from thousands of years ago. And thus we should worship Him, serve Him and live for Him to show our belief and love for Him. The Antichrist will be defeated by the mere appearance of Jesus Christ on Earth (Revelation 19) and suffer eternal punishment in the lake of fire. But Nebuchadnezzar, after spending his seven years roaming the grounds of his kingdom like an animal, was humbled and did what we should all do when facing the God of the universe: repent.

” 34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: 35And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? 36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. 37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.” (Daniel 4).

Christian Singer Jennifer Knapp “Comes Out”: Is It OK to be Christian and Gay?

In Entertainment, Political Issues on May 10, 2010 at 6:02 pm

Jesus Christ loves Jennifer Knapp

Last week Larry King hosted a very riveting program in which Christian singer Jennifer Knapp discussed her faith and decision to announce publicly that she is a lesbian and living in a lesbian relationship (I have posted the entire interview below – and I encourage those to watch it who have not seen it).  This is a very controversial and sensitive issue. I want to start off by saying that Jesus loves all people, gay and straight and died for people of all sexualities. I am not a bigot or homophobic and want people to know that I care about them and love them regardless of their background. And there are many, many Christian people in America and all over the world who have feelings for someone of the same sex, who are struggling with this same question. Ms. Knapp has taken the position that as a Christian it’s permissible to be gay and maintain gay intimate relationships. She also believes that the Bible either does not outright say that homosexuality is a sin or that it’s unclear because of translation issues from Greek to English. She does not feel like what she is doing is wrong in the eyes of God. So can one be gay and believe in Christ? The answer is YES, just not in the way Ms. Knapp is trying to.

Pastor Bob Botsford of Horizon Christian Fellowship Church, came on the show and gave an excellent Biblical response and explanation of why Ms. Kanpp is actually in sin and out of step with the Bible. And that’s what it comes down to. What does the Word of God say on these questions? So let’s go through the issues.

The Bible’s stance on homosexuality

Ms. Kanpp claims that the original Greek translation is somehow a “handicap” to our understanding what the Bible’s stance on homosexuality is. The example she gives is the word “malakos” which is translated in the Bible as “effeminate.”  This word has been used to be synonymous with being gay. Is that correct? Perhaps. But even if it is not, there are other verses that have no such linguistic ambiguity. Jesus Christ makes it very clear:

Matthew 19:4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,  5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?  6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Jesus quotes the book of Genesis in this passage. He takes it all the way back to the first human couple on Earth, Adam and Eve. God created them, male and female to be one flesh together. Marriage between a man and woman was to be permanent. This is God’s Will for relationships.

Romans Chapter 1 makes it even more clear as to what the New Testament’s position on homosexuality is:

Romans 1: 20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.  24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:  25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.  26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

It is a part of our sinful flesh and our desires that are contrary to God that sexual immorality has entered our society. The Bible states that the “natural” relationship for a woman is to be with a man and vice versa. This passage is clearly stating that anything else is “error.”

Finally, there is the issue of sex outside of marriage. Whether one is gay or straight the Bible clearly forbids fornication.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

So just going by Scripture Ms. Knapp is wrong in stating the Bible is unclear on these things.

The Challenge for Gay Christians

So what if someone is gay or has gay desires but wants to be a Christian?  Or is already a professing Christian. Is this possible? The answer is yes. Just like people who have lied or have desires to lie can be Christian. Or men who are unmarried and lust after women can be Christian. As long as anyone is willing to actually read God’s Word and believe it, it’s certainly possible. But the first step is confessing that homosexuality is a sin. Just like lying, stealing, cheating on your wife, taking the Lord’s name in vain and many other sins straight people commit every day. Homosexuality is not a “special sin’ that is to be singled out from any other. All born-again Christians have sinned and continue to sin after they are saved.  But in order to repent as a Christian you have to choose to turn away from your sin and start living your life for Jesus Christ and His Will. For the straight Christian who has been having pre-marital sex, it means stopping that behavior. It means being willing to sacrifice your  lusts and desires to be obedient to your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Galatians 2:20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

This is where Pastor Botsford did an excellent job of explaining what the Bible states. No matter what our sinful past is, whether it’s being violent, a white collar criminal or a computer hacker, we have to “die” to sin. We have to let Christ live in us and abide by His Will. Being a Christian is about having  a changed heart. The book of Galatians continues this point in Chapter 5:

Galatians 5: 16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.  17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would

A born again Christian receives a new spirit that seeks to please God. However we are still living in our Earthly, sinful flesh and the Bible goes on to state that  “..the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,..” And  thus we have to work daily to remove those sinful desires from our lives. This is done through prayer, studying God’s Word and changing one’s lifestyle and decisions.

24And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

To “crucify” the flesh means to be willing to forego fleshly desires in your love and obedience to Jesus. This is where the rubber hits the road for Ms. Knapp. She wants to live her life based on her own desires and what she feels is good for her. The Bible states:  24Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Matthew 16:24). If you are gay and truly want to follow Christ, you must be willing to deny yourself and let your sinful desires “die.” This is taking up your cross. As Pastor Botsford said, Jesus should rule your life, not sin.  So the question is, are you willing to confess your sins to God? Are you willing to acknowledge being gay as a sin and turn from it? This is what Jesus says we must do to follow him. It does not mean that a gay person will suddenly lose all desires. That desire may never leave. But it does mean that person will gain a new desire to please God. The reborn spirit will be in that person and that they will know from the conviction they feel that they have to turn from that sin. And sexual sin is a difficult one, which is why the Apostle Paul says “flee fornication.” Don’t walk, run from it. Everyone of every orientation struggles with sexual desire. We are not perfect and will not be until we receive our heavenly bodies. But it’s going to God with our confessions and working to actively remove those sins from our lives that defines a Christian. That is how you follow Jesus.

The foundation of the Christian Faith is Jesus Christ. And Christ instructs us that God’s Truth is The Bible (John 17:17).  Jesus Christ loves all people and died for all of us. We are all sinners. But if we don’t admit to sin, then we’re saying we don’t need a Savior. And if we are saved but are not even acknowledging we are doing something wrong, but instead proclaiming it to the world, sin is ruling our heart and not Jesus Christ. Hopefully Ms. Knapp will realize this.

Bible Verse of The Day — God is Our Strength

In Bible Study, Importance of Prayer, Inspirational on March 30, 2010 at 6:52 pm

2 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

This wonderful verse written by the Apostle Peter, brings so many important messages for the Christian to take to heart. First of all he refers to the “God of all grace.” Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines grace as: “Appropriately, the free unmerited love and favor of God, the spring and source of all the benefits men receive from him.” Our God is a God of unmerited love and favor. Despite our sin, despite our shortcomings, despite our past, God still wants to pour out His love on us and show His favor in our lives. Not a god of war or of gold or of lightning, God is a God of grace. Loving us even when we denied Him. Peter knew this personally as he denied Christ at the time of Christ’s arrest. How sad and sorrowful must he have felt knowing he let his good friend, teacher and Savior done at the bleakest hour! Yet Christ, in His resurrected body and given all power over Heaven and Earth, did not condemn Peter. He did not tell him “I told you so!” or ask Peter “how could you do that to me?” Instead, He forgave Him. That is grace.

Next we see that God in saving us through Jesus Christ, has also called us to eternal glory. Webster’s states glory is: “The felicity of heaven prepared for the children of God; celestial bliss.” For those who will receive God’s gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, Heaven awaits! God is calling us to come to it. And will it be good? Well the Bible tells us: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9).

But while we are still alive here on Earth, we still face problems, challenges, tragedies and pain. We cry, we suffer and we become ill. Yes, Heaven is awaiting a saved believer in Christ, but Earth still holds problems and drama. The good news is that The Lord is here for us now as well. We will suffer, but have faith, because the strength of Our Lord is perfected in our weakness. When Elijah was on the run from the satanic Queen Jezebel, he cried out to God to die rather than deal with her wrath. As he laid under a juniper tree hopeless and frightened, God responded by sending an angel to comfort him and supernaturally feed him for the journey to Mt. Horeb. He strengthened him for his challenges ahead and stablished him by reminding Elijah that it’s not his battle. The Lord reassured Elijah that He provides what is needed to sustain us. And it got Elijah back on mission.  God is our strength! When we have faith The Lord fights for us. And that knowledge gives a peace that can settle us. A peace that passeth all understanding. When you suffer Beloved, cry out to your God. And trust in Him to feed you, comfort you and strengthen you for the road ahead. All because He loves you so much.

The Pink Ouija Board – The Occult for Kids

In End -Time Deception, Family, occult on February 10, 2010 at 2:56 pm

Witchcraft now comes in pink.

    BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES

Deuteronomy 18:9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Recently there have been news stories regarding the new Pink Ouija board (and fortunately there is already a boycott taking place as well). As the Bible instructs, we are not to be ignorant of Satan’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11). Thanks to the likes of “children’s entertainment” like Harry Potter, World of Warcraft, TV shows like Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Charmed and of course, music stars, the occult has become fashionable, cool and “in” for kids and teenagers alike. While this may seem like harmless entertainment, they are embedded with real satanic themes and witchcraft. All of this is designed to make what God has called an abomination much more enticing. Kids are being raised to believe they can get what they want through occult powers and to look to other sources for spiritual fulfillment rather than Jesus Christ. For those who have any doubt about the popularity of witchcraft and wicca (which was invented by Satanist and Aleister Crowley-devotee, Richard Gardner), I strongly suggest you check out the excerpts from the book “Generation Hex”, which chronicled the widespread explosion of the occult amount America’s youth.

And now we have the old Ouija board getting a 2010 upgrade for little girls, by making a pink version that can glow in the dark. Ouija is a tool that people think can contact the dead, but is actually a device to contact demonic forces and evil spirits. All the while providing “answers” to whatever pressing questions the users may have. It provides a way for people to put their spiritual trust and desire in “the world of the dead.”

Since the Garden of Eden, that has been Satan’s mission: to distract our attention, focus and worship from the God of the Bible. Distraction is all that’s necessary to keep an unsaved person in the dark. Many satanists like Marilyn Manson will say that they don’t worship the devil. Well in many instances, this is true. Much of satanism is focused on the self. It instructs the reader to get what they want out of life, do whatever they feel and have no conscience about it. In doing this, they must disregard the Bible and God’s plan for humanity. And ultimately it is turning America and the rest of the world into an occult society, perfectly prepped for the Great Tribulation. The book of Daniel tells us the antichrist will understand “dark sentences” and that “craft will prosper in his hand” (Daniel 8:23-25). Could all of this occult emphasis in the media and pop culture be getting people ready for that kind of leader?

If you are a Christian, the above passage from Deuteronomy is clear. Any dabbling in the occult is an abomination to The Lord. Behind all of these different occult practices are demonic forces who are feeding people what they want to hear. Contacting the dead, or necromancy, is forbidden in the Bible.

By parents bringing these “toys” into their homes, they are giving license to the demonic and evil spirits that come with them. If the Gospels are clear about anything regarding demons, it’s that demons ultimately want to possess and take over their victims completely. The most popular example would probably be the demons who called themselves “Legion” to Jesus because there were so many inside of them inside the body of one man. That is their mission.
Jesus explains this on several occasions. In Luke 11 we read:

24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. 25And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. 26Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

Unclean spirits think of people as their homes! This is coming straight from Jesus Christ. But notice that when the home is “swept and garnished” the demon cannot get back on its own. He must go and get more. So you have to make sure as a Christian that you are as far removed from the occult as possible. Keep your hearts and mind clear of these demonic influences. And certainly those of your children.

Do you believe Jesus Christ who warns us to avoid these things? Or do you put your trust in marketing executives who call of this harmless fun while making millions off the sale of their merchandise? It may seem difficult to make a break from such popular activities but that is why the Bible calls on us to be a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2). We must give up those things in our love for Jesus. So to parents, use good discernment and protect your home. And to young people, do not be deceived!

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour

The Return of the Antichrist

In Bible Study, End-Times/Eschatology, Prophecy on January 8, 2010 at 2:03 am

Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

I will be doing a series of in-depth studies on the book of the Revelation throughout the early part of this year. And in these times we’re living in, one of the hottest topics in end-times prophecy is the Antichrist. This figure who will present himself as a false substitute of the True Christ, our Lord Jesus, and deceive the world into political and religious unification with him as the head (Revelation 13) and seek to establish a satanically empowered empire. But having read the whole book of Revelation, we know the antichrist’s time will be short-lived as Jesus Christ, the Messiah will come and destroy the Antichrist, his partner the False Prophet and all their forces with the brightness of His Coming and establish a Kingdom of Righteousness. Amen. This has left many believers and the curious wondering…just who is the Antichrist?

While many theories abound as to who the Antichrist is (with ideas running from Obama, the Pope, Tony Blair..etc.), most of these ideas if not all of them fall apart under Biblical scrutiny (and I certainly don’t believe any of those men are). I wanted to kick off this series by sharing a very important and often overlooked passage regarding his identity. Living in what certainly feels like the end-times, there is a natural urge in the Christian to speculate on the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. And this is a good thing. Jesus Christ our Lord instructed us to “watch” and “be ready”! (Matthew 24:44-46) So we should be looking eagerly to His arrival when He comes in the clouds for His saints. But in our speculation we always have to rely on what the Scriptures say to inform our beliefs. And this passage in Revelation 17 is very telling.

The beauty of the book of Revelation is that for all of the startling imagery that often leaves readers very confused, the angels who accompany John The Revelator as he is being shown things which he “hast seen, and the things which are, and things which shall be hereafter”, take the time to explain the visions he witnesses and interpret them for him. This makes understanding Revelation much easier and we should take their explanations to heart as believers. In chapter 17 John has just seen an image of a woman riding a scarlet colored beast (this beast had been previously described in Revelation chapter 13 as The Beast or the Antichrist). Here is the description we see in chapter 17:

1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

So here we see the vivid description of Mystery Babylon the Great, who is drunk “with the blood of the martyrs” (a key to identifying mystery Babylon). But we are going to focus on the beast that she is riding. And the angel provides the explanation of who (or what) this beast is:

7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. >

The angel clearly tells John that he is going explain “the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her.” So we do not need to go into speculation — the answer is here! In verse 8 the antichrist, referred to as “the beast” is first described as one that “was, and is not, and yet is.” This verse is very important as it makes a stark contrast to the description that Jesus Christ our Lord gives of Himself in Revelation Chapter 1:

8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty
.

The phrase “which is, and which was, and which is to come” is a demonstration that Jesus Christ is eternal. He voluntarily lowered Himself (Hebrews 2:) when He came to Earth and was born on this as the seed of a woman prophesied in Genesis 3:15 and all throughout all the Old Testament. And although He laid his life down on the cross, He conquered death and the grave in His Resurrection (Acts 2:24). And in His resurrected body He ascended to Heaven where He sits at the right hand of The Father. Therefore He has always existed.

The Beast, on the other hand, is described as one who “was, and is not, and yet is.” This indicates that he is not eternal. But it gives us a huge clue as to his identity – he has already existed in the past! But he died and did NOT conquer the grave. He is still dead at the time John is receiving the vision. So where is the Beast now? Verse 8 tells us. He is in “the bottomless pit.” So just what does that mean. This calls for examining the text. The Greek word for “bottomless pit” is abussos.
Strong’s concordance explains abussos as follows:

12 abussos {ab’-us-sos}
AV – bottomless pit 5, deep 2, bottomless 2; Total: 9
1) bottomless
2) unbounded
3) the abyss
3a) the pit
3b) the immeasurable depth
3c) of Orcus, a very deep gulf or chasm in the lowest parts of the earth used as the common receptacle of the dead and especially as the abode of demons.

Another term for abussos is “deep.” We see “the deep” referenced in Luke Chapter 8:

26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.
27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.

So here we see the demons called Legion begging Jesus not be to be sent to “the deep.” This is the same term for “bottomless pit.” It is a place of punishment and detainment for demonic spirits or (those who have pledged allegiance to the adversary). This is the current location of the antichrist. The Angel makes this quite clear.

To further confirm that the antichrist is a person who has lived before, the Angel provides more explanation:

9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

“Here is the mind that hath wisdom” is calling us to be wise in understanding what is about to be stated. The Angel explains that the seven heads are “seven mountains.” Symbolically, these mountains represent “seven kings.” Kings are real people. They are rulers. (Many Christians have interpreted these “kings” to mean nations, but it does not say this. It clearly says that they are kings.) And there is a historical sequence of these kings. Five are “fallen” meaning at the time of the writing of Revelation they were dead (most Biblical scholars agree Revelation was written sometime between 65 AD and 90 AD). “One is” means that one at that time was alive. “And the other is yet to come” meant that that the seventh king was coming some time after the writing of Revelation.
But the Beast is described as “the eighth, and is of the seven.” Again it is confirmed that the Antichrist has lived before! And that he is returning. He is one of those seven historic, “Mystery Kings” and he is going to return and go “into perdition.” This should significantly help us narrow down the field on who the Antichrist could be. There are only seven candidates and 6 of them lived at least 1,900 years ago. So who could these “Mystery Kings” possibly be? Stay tuned for the next part of the series.

The “Legion” Movie – More end-times deception

In End -Time Deception, Entertainment on December 14, 2009 at 6:49 am

There is a new movie named “Legion” that is now in theaters and it’s supposed to be about the end of the world or the Apocalypse of the Bible. But it’s nothing but a perfect example of end-time deception that seeks to distort the Bible and draw people from God and Jesus Christ.

Here is the trailer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8lGCjd9W8U

Well first off, the main problem with the movie’s trailer is that it’s completely unbiblical. It’s just taking people and themes from the Bible and making up stories about them to pass it off like it’s in the Bible when it’s not.

The Angels

All throughout the Bible, Gabriel and Michael are good angels. Gabriel is a messenger who delivered the news of Christ being born

Luke 1: 26And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee , named Nazareth , 27To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

Michael, an Archangel, is the angel assigned to protect the nation of Israel . Not only does he never rebel against God, it is he who kicks Satan out of Heaven in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Michael opposes Satan and his evil, fallen angels (the ones who really want to wipe us out!). He is completely obedient and faithful to God.

God “Losing Faith” in humanity

This is also a falsehood being given by this film. God is not “losing faith” in humanity at all. In fact he wants us all to live forever with Him!

2 Peter 3: 9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God does not want us to die or go to hell! He loves and cherishes us. So why doesn’t it always feel like that? Because of our sin. Due to our sin, we have become separated from God. But God, out of his love, provided a way that we can be reconciled to Him.

Romans 5: 8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for us so that the punishment we should receive for our sins would fall on Him. Jesus became a sin-bearer for us. When we put our faith in Him as our Savior we are saved! That’s how simple salvation is.

The Second Coming

Although it’s only hinted at in the trailer, the unborn baby that Michael is trying to protect is the Messiah (I read this in article about the movie)! Again, this is nowhere in the Bible! Jesus took on human form as a baby in a manger 2,000 years ago. It’s not going to happen again. When Jesus returns it is not going to be as a baby. He is full grown and will look that way. And it’s not going to be a private event. Everyone will know.

Matthew 24: 23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before. 26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

See how on point the Word is! Jesus knew this would happen. He warned that there will be imposters and people claiming they know where Christ is or that they are Him. But we are not to believe it because when comes back, everyone is going to see Him coming and know it’s Him.

The Real Villain is missing! Or is he..??

Notice who is conspicuously absent from this trailer? Satan! With all the fighting, demons and machine guns, The devil is nowhere to be found. And that’s just how he likes it. Satan has set up a system in this world that tempts us to sin so much, without putting blame on him. He has set up a world where suffering, pain and death are blamed on God while be don’t pin anything on him.

Satan is the fallen angel who rebelled against God. So in essence, the character “Michael” in this movie is Satan. And He is trying to tell Lucifer/Satan’s story all over again. A fallen angel who was once good, who has rebelled and now wants to “liberate” humanity from an angry, oppressive God. This is the same lie the devil told Eve in the garden:

Genesis: 3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

See what he did? He took God’s word and turned it around (with a subtle lie) to trick Eve.

This movie is depicting exactly what the devil attempts to do: lure us into rebellion against God under the guise of a “good cause.” All the while elevating himself and making God look bad. This movie is a classic case of deception that takes the Bible and tries to turn it upside down and sell it as real.

The real end of the Apocalypse is Jesus returning to Earth on a cloud with his angels and saints. He defeats the antichrist and his false prophet with the brightness of His coming and the breath of His mouth. He also imprisons Satan, brings back peace and righteousness and reigns for 1,000 years. God wins. End of story.

We have no need to be deceived or scared by misinformation like this. We just need to look to The Lord and His Word to know the Truth!
